Sochi reaches half-way stage

Russia has 16 medals - four Gold, seven Silver and five Bronze. The Men's Ice Hockey reaches the end of the first stage, and today, Monday February 17, the finalists of the Women's Ice Hockey will be known.

In yesterday's Men's Ice Hockey games, Russia won the contest against Slovakia in the shootouts, 1-0; Austria beat Norway 3-1 and today Canada beat Finland in overtime, 2-1.

Seven sets of medals will be delivered today for the winners of the following modalities: biathlon, bobsleigh, freestyle, snowboard, ski jumping, Nordic combined and figure skating.

4 Golds (2 in Figure Skating, 1 in Short Track, 1 in Skeleton); 7 Silvers (Figure Skating, Short Track, 2 in Luge, 1 in Speed Skating, Biathlon, Cross-Country), 5 Bronze (Short Track, Skeleton, Speed Skating, Biathlon, Freestyle Skiing).
