Friendship order awarded to Vietnam's Ambassador to Moscow

The ceremony of awarding Ngo Tat To, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation was held in the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday, reported the Information and Press Department of the Foreign Ministry.

The Vietnamese diplomat received that high award for his great contribution to the consolidation of friendship and cooperation between Russia and Vietnam, noted the Foreign Ministry.

Yuri Fedotov, Deputy Foreign Ministry of Russia, who presented the award, stressed that the period of the Vietnamese ambassador's work in Moscow was marked by an active development of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries.

Apart from that, Russian-Vietnamese political contacts at top and high level have become more active during that period. The sides expressed the hope that relations in the trade, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and other spheres would be further developed.
