Russia calls on Israel and Palestine to be restrained

According to information coming from the Middle East, 17 Palestinians werekilled during Israeli military operations in the region from August 29 toSeptember 2. Most of the killed Palestinians were civilians, includingwomen and children. Israeli officials have already presented theirapologies for the death of innocent people.Commenting on this situation, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated therewere no large terrorist acts over the past month in Israel. Moreover, therate of violence went down and the staged withdrawal of Israeli forces fromsome Palestinian districts started according to the treaty 'Gaza andBethlehem first'.In a statement published by the information and press department, theRussian Foreign Ministry called on all involved sides to show maximumrestrain and allow no casualties among civilians. The statement says thesides should not provide a trump card for extremist forces that do not wantthe resumption of the peace process and progress in the settlement of theIsraeli-Palestinian conflict..
