USA Has Not Agreed to Create "Green Corridor" to Evacuate Iraqi Children

The talks of the famous Russian children's doctor, Leonid Roshal, held in the US Embassy on Friday to discuss a possibility of a "green corridor" to evacuate children from Iraq, has brought no results.

According to Roshal, "the Americans have not refused yet, but they will consult Washington".

"We are trying to draw closer the positions of the USA, Iraq and the International Red Cross Organisation on the issue /the creation of a "green corridor"/. "Sometimes they think that life is very long, but it can be short, especially for Iraqi children," the Russian children's doctor stressed in a televised interview.
