Palestine considers the Middle East settlement plan proposed by US president George Bush "absolutely unacceptable", he said. "The Palestinian people will never agree to the plan envisioning the removal of Yasser Arafat," the ambassador stressed.
"Since George Bush came to power the USA has not been an objective co-sponsor of the Middle East peace process," he believes.
Egyptian ambassador to Russia Reda Shehata in his turn stressed that "the only party to decide the question of the future Palestinian leader is Palestinian people, this cannot be solved from outside". "The Palestinian people have the right to self-determination and motherland," he concluded.
