Russia and Ukraine to construct bridge linking two countries

Authorities of Ukraine's peninsula Crimea and Moscow officials have decidedto prepare an agreement to be signed by the governments of Russia andUkraine on the construction of a transport bridge across the Kerch Strait.This bridge will link the Crimea with Russia's Kuban region, Crimean PMSergey Kunitsin announced at a meeting with journalists upon his returnfrom Moscow. He noted that the draft agreement had already been elaboratedon. The Moscow government's commission is elaborating on the feasibilitystudies for this project now.The Kerch Bridge project was launched by the Moscow government (it owns a74-percent stake in the project) and the Crimean Property Fund (26percent).
