21 US and 38 Italian servicemen have arrived in Tajikistan, Igor Sattarov, head of the Tajik Foreign Ministry information department, reported on Wednesday. According to him, in keeping with the current agreements, 186 French servicemen are also expected to arrive in Tajikistan. Sattarov noted that Tajikistan had signed a number of documents with the USA, France and Italy on joint activities within the anti-terrorism operation. Tajikistan has declared its readiness to open its air space and airports for operations related to rescue-search and humanitarian actions on Afghan territory if necessary, Sattarov stressed.
