Moscow urges Palestinian leadership to use every means for fighting terrorism

Moscow urges the Palestinian leadership to use every available means for fighting terrorism in all its forms.

According to deputy official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Boris Malakhov in connection with recent terrorist acts in Tel Aviv, Russia which not once suffered the burden of such barbarian crimes expresses its deepest condolences to relatives and close ones of the dead people and its sincere sympathy with those injured.

The document states that "while resolutely denouncing inhuman attacks of terrorists, Moscow urges the Palestinian leadership which spoke against such acts to use every available means for fighting terrorism in all its forms." The perpetrators of the recent terrorist acts in Tel Aviv clearly attempted to frustrate the dialogue between various Palestinian organizations in Cairo within the framework of which possible options to cease fire were being contemplated. The statement also indicated that those actions were aimed at frustration of international meeting to support Palestinian reforms scheduled to take place in mid-January in London.

As a result of the terrorist act in Tel Aviv at least 23 people were killed, including women and children, and more than 100 were injured.
