The Turkish authorities are reported to have thwarted a series of terrorist attacks planned for the month of Ramadan, according to Saudi daily al-Watan.
The paper quotes a security source in Ankara as saying that they had uncovered training operations by groups linked to al-Qaeda, who were recruiting 50 women for bombing missions.
