A delegation of the Russian State Committee on Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism arrives in Vietnam on Tuesday. First Deputy Chairman of the committee Viktor Khotochkin heads the delegation. The Russian guests will meet heads of sports organizations, sportsmen and coaches, will examine sports grounds in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, a major economic centre. Talks will be held in Hanoi followed by signing an agreement on bilateral cooperation in the sphere of sport and physical culture for the period of five years. Hanoi will host the Asian games for the first time in 2003. Preparations are already being held in Vietnam. Vietnamese sports leaders praise a great contribution of Russian coaches to the development of sport in Vietnam. Within the last two years 28 sports coaches worked in Vietnam. Their trainees won medals and took prize places at major competitions.
