Discussions of the most pressing present-day issues is continuing at the 11th OSCE Annual Parliamentary Assembly, which opened on Saturday in Berlin. The priority issue at the session is the fight against terrorism and extremism, the organising committee of the session disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent.
The Russian delegation, headed by Chairman of the State Duma Gennady Seleznyov, is participating in the session. The Russian representatives will attend Monday the plenary sessions of the committee for democracy, human rights and humanitarian issues, the committee for economic issues and the committee for political and security issues. This committee will discuss measures to be taken by the 55 OSCE member countries, concerning the fight against terrorism.
