Russia will carry on dialogue with Yasser Arafat, the legitimate leader of the Palestinian people, Igor Ivanov, Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, said at a news conference following a meeting with his French counterpart Dominique de Villepin.
Moscow believes President George Bush's recent statement on the Middle East does contain a number of theses the international community might take advantage of when searching for solutions to the Mideastern problem, said Mr Ivanov.
