Finnish Prime Minister to visit St. Petersburg on September 8-9

Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen will visit St. Petersburg on September 8-9. According to the St. Petersburg city administration press service, the visit is planned in conjunction with 'Finland week' in St. Petersburg.

It is planned that Vanhanen and his wife will arrive at Pulkovo airport on the morning of September 8. Then he will visit the Finnish St. Maria church and look over the exhibition 'Finns in St. Petersburg.' Moreover, Vanhanen will take part in the opening of the Yarnefelt exhibition in the marble palace, visit the construction site of the new Finnish consulate in St. Petersburg and open 'Finland week' in St. Petersburg.
