US Informed Tajik President About Its Airstrikes In Afghanistan

US Secretary of State Colin Powell informed, on US President's instructions, Tajik President Emomali Rakhmonov about the airstrikes at targets in Afghanistan, said Tajik Foreign Ministry's press-service Monday. Other issues discussed during the Sunday night conversation included security in Central Asia and delivery of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan. Cooperation of the two countries in combat against international terrorism and extremism was also discussed.
