US And British Strategic Aviation And Vessels Participate In The Second Wave Of Strikes Against Afghanistan

According to the report of the RIA Novosti correspondent, General Richard Myers, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, announced at a briefing in Pentagon that US and British strategic aviation and vessels were engaged in the new series of strikes against targets in Afghanistan. According to him, 10 strategic bombers and 10 carrier-based fighter bombers were used in the operation. US and British Navy vessels launch cruise missiles against targets in Afghanistan. The General confirmed that on Monday strategic aviation was not launching cruise missiles.
