A group unknown to police and going by the name of the French Armed Islamic Front has sent an e-mail in which it claims responsibility for a bomb blast at the Indonesian embassy in Paris, judicial officials say.
The judicial officials said they had not been able to verify the authenticity of the e-mail sent to the town hall of the district where the embassy is located and other sources said they doubted its veracity. "This event, even if it was bungled, is a clear warning to &to=http:// english.pravda.ru/main/2002/04/22/27818.html ' target=_blank>France," the e-mail said, according to the judicial officials.
Parts of the message were oddly phrased in French slang, Reuters informed.
