USA Willing For New Strategies In Contacts With Russia: Rice

US-Russian relations are thoroughly changing, and the United States is open to whatever new strategic framework of such relations, holds the George W. Bush Administration, as Condoleezza Rice, National Security Adviser, said to a journalist audience in the White House today. An US-Russian dialogue is well underway for this framework, and will go on after President Vladimir Putin's visit. So the upcoming visit is not to be expected to finally determine the matter. There are many aspects in US-Russian contacts--in particular, economic partnership, relations with NATO, information and opinion exchanges on anti-terror combat, and promotion of security and mass destruction arms nonproliferation. When asked about President Putin's sojourn in President Bush's Texan ranch, Miss Rice said that the summiteers would carry on negotiations there, but they certainly want to have the time to themselves and get to know each other better. George Bush is eager to show the place to Vladimir Putin, added the presidential adviser.
