Russian President Vladimir Putin has urged that a concept of terrorism be defined in international law. The Russian head of state made such an appeal on Tuesday at a news-conference in the wake of the Russian-Indian talks in the Kremlin. The Russian President said that it was necessary to strengthen the role of the U.N.O. in combating international terrorism. "Together we should define the concept of terrorism in international law", Putin said. He also noted that the stances of Russia and India on the issue of struggle against international terrorism coincided. Touching upon the problem of Kashmir Putin hailed the political dialogue between India and Pakistan and expressed the hope that this dialogue "would yield positive results".
