Israeli Troops Hamper Palestinian Movement On Road To Qalqilya In West Bank

Movement of Palestinians and traffic along the road to Qalqilya in the West Bank was heavily hampered on Wednesday. Israeli troops continued to raise barriers and set up army road blocks on it. According to the Palestinian media, Israeli soldiers are rude to Palestinians passing through the Israeli Azun road block at the entrance to the city. Many Palestinians driving through the block were subjected to thorough and insulting inspection. Hundreds of people had to wait a long time in strong wind and under torrential rain with their hands raised, expecting their turn for examination, witnesses say. All other approaches to the city were cordoned off with wire, concrete obstacles and earthworks parapets.
