Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov is going to sign 6 to 9 agreements during his official visit to the Czech Republic. Russian Prime Minister told journalist in the airport of Prague that they (agreements) would include agreements on financial and insurance activities in the investment sphere and on cooperation of the two countries' businessmen. According to Kasyanov, Russian businessmen show greater interest in privatization of Czech petrochemical enterprises and the gas transportation system. The Czech Republic has, in its turn, interest in joint projects in Russia. Kasyanov mentioned that during his St.Petersburg meeting with Czech Prime Minister Milos Zeman last June, it had been agreed to "give a new breath, a new impulse" to the two countries' economic cooperation. Both prime ministers are unanimous that bilateral cooperation might have risen to a higher level over the past years, therefore it was decided to encourage joint actions of manufacturers and businessmen. The Russian Premier hopes that the sides will further "supervise realization of joint projects".
