On Tuesday a meeting took place in Tokyo between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Losyukov and Japanese Foreign Minister Makiko Tanaka. Before it began, Tanaka noted that matters of struggle against international terrorism now top the agenda for many politicians and statesmen. "We in the Diet now were to discuss the economic situation in Japan and the conduct of radical reforms but have instead concentrated our efforts on problems of struggle against terrorism," said the Japanese foreign minister.
