The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow has denied all allegations made public by the London-published Al-Zaman newspaper, that Osama bin Laden is currently in Western Iran. According to the newspaper, the Al-Qaeda organisation has set up its network in Western Iran where it enjoys the support of local population and has quite a few supporters. Moreover, the newspaper alleges that in the Tora Bora caves, there have been found many air tickets to Tehran where Arab mercenaries were arriving in on the way to Afghanistan. The statement of the Iranian Embassy submitted on Thursday to RIA Novosti, emphasises that "all such allegations are total lies."
