OSCE High Commissioner for Ethnic Minorities Rolf Ekeus will visit Moscow on June 17-18th.
He is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov and members of the State Duma profile committees, the press and information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.
The Russian side intends to discuss the observation of human rights in Latvia and Estonia with the OSCE High Commissioner, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. In addition, they will compare appraisals of the status of ethnic minorities in several CIS countries.
The sides will also discuss inter-ethnic relations within the OSCE and practical issues of further cooperation in the human rights sphere, the Russian Foreign Ministry added.
