Uzbek President Islam Karimov is going to discuss the prospects of developing Uzbek-Austrian relations along with other issues of mutual interest during his official visit to Austria. According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, Karimov is arriving in Vienna on Monday by an invitation from Austrian Federal President Thomas Klestil. A number of bilateral documents are due to be signed during the visit. Karimov's visit to Austria, originally scheduled for October 8, was postponed following the start of the anti-terrorist operation held in direct proximity to Uzbek territory.
