Moscow's Mayor's Visit Considered Evidence of Russia's Support of Bulgaria's Reforms

According to the statement made today at a press conference by Bulgaria's Prime Minister: Simeon Saxe-Coburg, Moscow's Mayor Yury Luzhkov's visit to Bulgaria is of great importance to the country.

Mr. Saxe-Coburg believes Moscow welcomes Sofia's gravitating toward democratic reforms and, in the future, Bulgaria may count on Russia's support of these reforms. In turn, Mr. Luzhkov said that the peoples of Russia and Bulgaria 'simply must' be friends and actively support the prosperity of Slavs throughout the civilised world.
