Russian Vice Premier Viktor Khristenko to visit Kharbin

From June 14 till 16 Russian Vice-Premier Viktor Khristenko will visit Kharbin, where the 13th International Kharbin Exhibition-Fair will be held.

As it was disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent by diplomatic sources, the Russian Vice-Premier, who is also the chairman of the Russo-Chinese commission for preparations of regular meetings between the two countries' leaders, will have a meeting with the Chinese State Council member in the rang of Prime Minister Wu Yi, who heads the Chinese part of the bilateral commission.

It is expected, that in the course of the scheduled meeting Viktor Khristenko and Wu Yi will discuss issues concerning the prospects for trade and economic cooperation development, in the context of a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov with Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji to be held in Shanghai in August.

Viktor Khristenko will also meet Heilongjiang province Governor Sung Fatang to discuss issues concerning interregional and frontier trade-economic cooperation.
