Eid bombs: Iraq in 2013

Eid al-Fitr. A festival. At least, until 2003, when the USA and its poodle the UK decided to attack Iraq, destroy its society, strafe its civilian structures with military hardware, murder its citizens. 2013, ten years on, a disgrace in Iraq.

60-plus reported dead at  Eid-al-Fitr, the end of Ramadan in nine different areas of Baghdad, Sunni and Shia areas, cafés, restaurants, markets.

Around 700 people have been murdered in Iraq during Ramadan this year. 4,000 people have been murdered since January and 10,000 injured.
