The meeting of the G-4 Foreign Ministers on the Middle East settlement will take place on July 16 in New York. Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said this at the conference of Russian ambassadors in Moscow, reported RIA Novosti.
This meeting will be attended by Igor Ivanov, US Secretary of State Colin Powell and representatives of the European Union and the United Nations.
Igor Ivanov did not exclude the possibility that the Foreign Ministers of some Arab states will also take part in this meeting.
The Russian Foreign Minister said that in the course of this meeting its participants "intend to concretise the steps aimed at finding the way out of the crisis." "The situation is complicated, but in case of stopping the dialogue it may worsen even more," pointed out the minister.
