Snowden's father receives Russian visa to see his son

The father of Edward Snowden, the fugitive former U.S. spy agency contractor, has received a Russian visa and will travel there shortly to see his son, he and his lawyer said on Sunday, according to Kyiv Post.

Lon Snowden told he was looking forward to visiting his son, and said that they would consider options to allow him to return to the US, assuming he is guaranteed a fair trial, says Arutz Sheva.

"As a father, I want my son to come home if I believe that the justice system ... is going to be applied correctly," Lon Snowden said, according to Oakland Press.
