Pentagon Has No Information About Planned Announcement Of US Withdrawal From ABM Treaty

The Pentagon has no information about plans to announce the United States' unilateral withdrawal from the ABM Treaty, a U.S. Department of Defence official has told RIA Novosti. He was commenting on reports that on Thursday, December 13, the U.S. Administration may announce the United States' withdrawal from the treaty. The official said he had no information at the moment confirming these reports and added that the sources cited in the reports "apparently know what we don't know."
