Joubert, Plushenko drop out of Grand Prix Finals

Defending champion Evgeni Plushenko of Russia and Brian Joubert of France, the last two European champs, withdrew from this week's Grand Prix Finals in Tokyo.

The pullout by three-time world champion &to=http://english.pravda.ru/culture/2005/11/27/68569.html' target=_blank>Plushenko wasn't explained by the International Skating Union on Monday, but a bad groin strain forced him to miss this year's worlds.
