Another Humanitarian Convoy Arrives From Russia To Afghanistan

A convoy of 18 Russian truckloads of humanitarian aid for Afghanistan have arrived on Thursday to the Bagram village 60 kilometers north of Kabul. It is the first aid shipment through the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry brought to central Afghanistan by land. The convoy has covered the distance from the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, in four days, bringing 150 tonnes of foods for Afghanistan. It is as much as the ministry's planes have carried here since the start of the humanitarian action. The south-eastern regions of Afghanistan are as before out-of-reach for the haulage of humanitarian aid. Meanwhile, the local administration says that these regions are in need of emergency aid and without it exodus may begin.
