A 13-year-old resident of the Lisyansk District of Cherkask Region has given birth to a healthy 3.67-kilogram boy, the region's Health Department reported Saturday. The birth, by Cesarean section, was difficult, the department told Rosbalt. Both mother and child were reported in good condition. The father was not identified.
This was the third time since the autumn that a child has given birth in Ukraine. The earlier births were also to 13-year-olds, one in Kharkov and one in Vinnitsa.
