Yesterday, Russia's Council of Federation extended the mandate for Russian peacemakers to stay in Kosovo till July 31, 2003.
According to a reporter of Rosbalt's, there will be 2,000 Russia's peacemakers in the region till July 1 this year, after which just 650 will remain.
At the same time, the Council of Federation agreed that 3,000 Russia's troops would remain part of the collective peacemaking force in Abkhazia till June 30 this year.
