The 4th World Congress of the Russian Press will be held in Berlin on October 23-26. This decision was made at the first meeting of the Organising Committee last Sunday.
More than 200 publishers, chief editors, owners and heads of Russian-language mass media from 50 countries are expected to gather in Berlin in October.
The World Association of the Russian Press unites all printing and electronic mass media, agencies, editorial offices, TV and radio programmes and other producers and distributors of all kinds of information in the Russian language. According to the data of the Executive Committee of the World Association of the Russian Press, Russian magazines, newspapers, publishing houses, radio and television exist in more than 80 countries.
