An "elevated risk" for a terrorist attack still exists for Italy, the Italian Interior Ministry announced Monday.
"After examining the status of the investigations in Italy after the attacks in London and in Sharm el Sheik, the (security) committee made a deep analysis of the terrorist threat from the Islamic context," a ministry statement was quoted by the AP.
The conclusion was that "an elevated risk for a terrorist attack in our country remains," the ministry said.
