On Wednesday Brazilian President Fernando Enrique Cardozo will arrive in Kiev for an official visit. According to Igor Dolgov, the official spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the agenda of the visit stipulates signing a number of bilateral documents. In particular, the officials will sign a Declaration on bolstering friendly relations and cooperation between Ukraine and Brazil, a number of agreements in the sphere of machine engineering, copyright protection of technologies used by Ukraine to launch space vehicles from the Alkantar launch centre, and a convention that will prevent double taxation. The Brazilian President will also meet his Ukrainian counterpart Leonid Kuchma and Ivan Plyushch, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Supreme Council. The Presidents of the two states will also take part in a meeting between representatives of business circles of the two countries.
