Poland and Russia to Hold Dialogue Forum for Discussion of Mutual Problems in Warsaw in March

Polish and Russian people need a more sincere dialogue about mutual problems they have faced in the past and present. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, this was announced by Polish Foreign Minister Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz at a meeting with foreign journalists in Warsaw yesterday. According to the minister, this dialogue will become possible by holding the Dialogue forum in Warsaw on March 15.

Mr Cimoszewicz also said that Poland is optimistic about a visit from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov on February 20-21. He added that the agreement signed last week by Deputy Prime Ministers Victor Khristenko and Marek Pol on the reduction of Russian gas supply to Poland could pave the way for a detailed discussion of other problems. In particular, both Russia and Poland are unhappy about the limited access to each other's markets. The Poles, for example, would like to increase the volume of food export to Russia.
