End of EU: Croatia blocks Serbian border

The Slovenian authorities halted passenger trains on the main railway line to Croatia.

According to the local police, no passenger service is currently available. The Slovenian police halted a train with 200 refugees on the border with Croatia. The authorities intent to return detained migrants back into the territory of Croatia.

"We will return them to Croatia in the shortest time possible," Anton Stubljar, Novo Mesto police representative, claimed.

In Croatia the humanitarian situation has deteriorated because of the mass inflow of migrants. The weather conditions are also not favourable, as it is 30°C above zero.

Refugees have tried to break through the Croatian border in Serbia, as Pravda.Ru reported. These are the first clashes with police in the East of Croatia.
