Russian Vice Premier Leaves For Spain

Vice Premier Viktor Khristenko is leaving for Madrid on Thursday afternoon to meet the co-chairman of the Russian-Spanish intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, Vice Premier's press secretary Stanislav Naumov said Wednesday. The commission's co-chairmen are expected to discuss the Russian-Spanish trade and economic cooperation. Besides, Khristenko is to meet heads of the Supreme Council of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to Naumov, the negotiations in Madrid will focus not only on Russian-Spanish bilateral cooperation but also on Russia's cooperation with the European community as a whole.
