Police discover body of missing cruise passenger

The body of a missing Dutch tourist was found in Florida on Monday, a day after she vanished from a cruise ship.

Sheriff's officials said the medical examiner has ruled the woman's death a suicide, and her boyfriend was cooperating with detectives. No foul play was suspected.

Officials identified the woman as Monique Teresia Van Der Steenstraeten, 49, of the Netherlands. She had disappeared Sunday from a Discovery Cruise Line ship.

Discovery Cruise spokeswoman Roberta Backus said the boyfriend contacted the ship's manager when the woman vanished.
