Baghdad is bound to agree with the UN Security Council new resolution on Iraq, acting in accordance with the international legislation. This was disclosed in Moscow in the course of the meeting of the Russian social, political and business circles dealing with issues of the cooperation with Iraq by co-chairman of the round table Abdel Razzak al-Hashimi - the President of the Iraqi society of friendship, peace and solidarity with foreign countries. The UN Security Council, having issued new resolution 1409 on Iraq, concerning the prolongation for 6 months starting from May 30 of the UN humanitarian program "Oil for food", and having confirmed the so-called observatory list of goods /OLG/, which enrols goods of double purpose, made a step contradicting with the international legislation under the US pressure, Abdel Razzak remarked. In Baghdad's opinion, "there are no arguments at the present moment for the prolongation of the blockade of Iraq," Abdel Razzak said. The adopted resolution, No. 1409, will highly effect Russo-Iraqi trade and economic relations, since 60% of the Iraqi goods turnover with Arab and other foreign countries falls on Russia, Abdel Razzak said.
