King Of Jordan To Discuss Problems Of Combating Terrorism In Moscow

King of Jordan Abdallah II will pay a short working visit to Moscow. The King will arrive in Moscow on Tuesday night and on the following day will hold talks with president of Russia Vladimir Putin. According to the source, the problem of combating terrorism, and not only in the course of the operation in Afghanistan but also in Central Asia and Russia will be one of the main themes of the talks. Ways to counter terrorists' attempts to distort the image of Islam will also be touched upon. It is also noted that the problems of Middle East settlement and ways of development of bilateral relations will figure prominently in the Russian-Jordanian talks. The mass media of Jordan stress that it is the second visit of Abdallah II to Moscow over the past few months, which, in their opinion, testifies to the sides' desire to actively develop cooperation in different fields, including the military sphere.
