Yassir Arafat's Visit To Russia Is Still Out Of Question

Yassir Arafat's visit to Moscow is still not on the agenda, said Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Khairi Al-Oridi. The present situation in the region is tense and difficult, therefore Yassir Arafat's presence in Palestine is of vital importance, the Ambassador told a press conference in Moscow on December 20. However, there are no obstacles to Arafat's visit to Russia, the Ambassador said. The Palestinian leader is maintaining permanent contacts with Russian top officials.
