England and Germany to get more Christmas weather

42793.jpegAir travel across Europe was disrupted for a third day as more snow is forecast for England and Germany.

London's Heathrow said there would be limited arrivals and departures today and advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless their flight is confirmed, according to the airport's Twitter Inc. website. Earlier today, Heathrow said delays are expected for the next several days, according to Bloomberg.

The cancellations came as the Met Office issued an emergency weather warning for the South West, with up to 8in (20cm) of snow likely in some areas.
Overnight snow has already caused chaos in Devon and Somerset, with roads including the A38, A380 and A39 badly affected.

Heavy snow is also forecast for Monday in London and the South East, Wales and northern Scotland.

Anger towards BAA - which operates of Heathrow - increased as the Christmas travel plans of half a million air passengers were ruined, Telegraph.co.uk reports.
