Drillers from Russian-Vietnamese Enterprise Find a New Oil-Bearing Bed in Vietnam

Drillers from the Russian-Vietnamese enterprise, Vietsovpetro, have found a new oil-bearing bed.

On April 19th an exploration drill hole in the eastern part of the Dai Hung oil field situated on Vietnam's southern continental shelf began gushing with a powerful oil stream totalling 840 tonnes a day. The volume of accompanying gas equals 122,000 cubic meters.

On Monday a team of Russian and Vietnamese oil workers began another exploration drilling in the southern part of the oil field, the press service of Vietsovpetro has told RIA Novosti. The end of this year is expected to see full and reliable estimation of its potential.
