The volume of oil and gas condensate production grew by 10.7 percent to 29.18m tons in Kazakhstan in January-July 2003, compared to that in the corresponding period of 2002, the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported. The volume of oil and gas production reached 26.37m tons in January-July 2002.
The volume of oil production rose by 9.5 percent to 25.73m tons, and the gas condensate production increased by 19.5 percent to 3.45m tons. The gross production of natural gas grew by 15.2 percent to 3.99bn cubic m. The volume of gasoline production rose by 9.2 percent to 1.06m tons. The production of gas oils grew by 26 percent to 1.62m tons, and the fuel oil production increased by 17.7 percent to 1.83m tons.
