Russia Ready To Help Afghanistan's Post-war Revival

Russia is ready to share with the world community the data which can be useful for the development of long-term prospects for the recovery of the Afghan economy, for instance, the information on Afghanistan's natural resources' reserves. Russia has got a unique experience of economic presence in Afghanistan. Head of the Russian delegation, Russia's Permanent Representative in the European Communities Vasily Likhachev announced this at the two-day donor conference on Afghanistan's restoration which opened in Brussels on Thursday. Likhachev confirmed that Russia is ready to join the international community's efforts on Afghanistan's economic recovery and to render humanitarian aid to the Afghan people. The aim of the conference organised by the European Union, the United Nations and some international non-governmental organisations is to solve the key problems on Afghanistan's recovery.
