ACT OF TERROR PERPETRATED IN THE NORTH AFGHAN CITY OF MAZAR-I-SHARIF

A total of 100 people were wounded as a result of the act of terror perpetrated in Mazar-i-Sharif. On Thursday, a fragmentation grenade exploded at the city's central market, which was thrown by an unindentified person to the crowd of people near exchange shops. The local television broadcast a reportage from the hospital where the wounded, six of whom suffered seriously, were delivered. The minister of health at the city government called this an act of terror. "Those who perpetrated it wanted to break peace and tranquillity in our city," the minister stressed.
