George Bush has confirmed his support for development of US-Russian relations

At the meeting with Russian Defence Minister Sergey Ivanov who has arrived in Washington with a working visit US President George Bush confirmed his support for development of US-Russian relations, a representative of the US administration made this statement after the official meeting in the White House.

According to him, George Bush and the Russian Minister "discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest including Russian-American cooperation in combating international terrorism".

The official spokesman of the US Administration stressed that the meeting between George Bush and Sergey Ivanov had been "very warm and positive".
